Review: Soap & Glory Pillow Plump XXL

Hello Everyone!

So if you've seen my latest beauty haul over on my YouTube channel you will know that I picked up a few new purchases from Soap & Glory; one of which was the new Pillow Plump Gloss in the shade 'Cherry Up'

After reading through your lovely comments I noticed that a lot of you were asking for a review so tonight whilst I'm snuggled up in bed I thought I would do just that and give you my product break down! So here it is....

The shade -
Extremely pigmented cherry Red with a hint of golden shimmer.

Lasting Power & Texture -
I would say that the lasting power is slightly above average as far as a gloss is concerned that is! Texture wise; moisturising & not too sticky :)

Plumping Sensation -
As we all know when it comes to a plumping gloss you've got to expect a little discomfort and this gloss is no exception! I'd give it a 7/10 on the sting scale!

Plumping effect? -
In all honesty I didn't notice that it provided all that much of an immediate plumping effect which is slightly disappointing considering it's marketed to give you 'Big Lush Lips' However after reapplying several times throughout the same day I did notice that my lips looked ever so slightly fuller.

All in all I really like the lipgloss and would recommend it as a highly pigmented moisturising formula however if your in it for the plump sadly I don't think that this ones the XXL pout that it's set out to be. But that certainly hasn't put me off from picking up another couple of shades from the line; I'm already eyeing up 'Pink Well' which is a gorgeous peachy pink that I think would be perfect for everyday wear :)

Have you tried the Pillow Plump? If so let me know your thoughts :)

Expensive Pink Meets 107 | FOTD

Hello Everyone!

I've become a little obsessed with reading through peoples FOTD's so today I'd thought I'd share mine with you <3

Foundation: Bourjois Healthy Mix in shade 52.
This provides a gorgeous natural look with a subtle dewy finish. It also feels super light weight on the skin so is perfect for everyday wear.

Concealer: Collection Lasting Perfection in shade Cool Medium
I've been using this product for the best part of 3 years now and I'm yet to find a concealer that beats it! It's high coverage, easy to blend and is an utter steal at under £4!!

Bronzer: MAC Bronzing Powder in shade Bronze
This is a fairly new purchase for me but I absolutely love it. It has a tiny amount of shimmer running through it so it adds a subtle glow but doesn't give off the dreaded disco ball effect!

Eyeshadow: MAC in shade Expensive Pink
This is a fuss free shade that looks beautiful on it's own or blended in with any other shadows. P.s. this was the first eyeshadow I ever purchased from MAC <3

Brows: MAC Brow Pencil in shade Lingering
The pencil itself is easy to work with and has a lovely Ashe undertone so it matches my hair colour perfectly. It's also super thin so it helps create tiny hair like strokes so it deffo keeps things natural.

Mascara: Revlon Lash Potion by Grow Luscious
My current favourite mascara!! It adds tons of volume and holds a curl beautifully. If you've not tried it yet I highly recommend that you do :)

Liptsick: Rimmel's Kate Moss Collection in shade 107
I know that this lipstick has made many appearances here on my little blog but I just can't get enough of it! In my opinion it's the perfect shade of red and has the BEST lasting power I've found in a lipstick in a very long while.

So that's everything, I hope you enjoyed reading this and I'll see you in my next post!

Lots of love
